Job description

Position Information This is for daytime positions 8 hours, 3 days per week located in the Facilities Management Department. Essential Functions Accompanies vendors in secured areas of Cobb County facilities. Pick up litter and empty trash in or around parking lots and County facilities.

Directs patrons to local Cobb Government buildings. Watch over the judicial campus and assist with event set up and escorting of outside contractors as needed. Assists with custodial tasks as requested.

Replenishes parking deck ticket dispensers and performs basic equipment maintenance. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred; six months customer service experience.

Licenses and Certifications Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Physical Abilities Tasks require the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting (5-15 pounds), carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials in excess of 100 pounds or move up to 35 pounds. Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or work station.
