Job Summary
The City of Sioux Falls is accepting applications for a part time Landfill Scale Operator. This is a part-time, non-benefitted position working up to 28 hours per week, Monday through Saturday, shifts depending on landfill needs.
Perform a wide variety of duties in support of the Sioux Falls Regional Sanitary Landfill operations including operation of a computerized truck scale, collection of fees, balancing of cash drawer, communication with customers in person and telephonically, monitor incoming waste loads, reporting and data entry, and clerical support.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from high school or GED certification with a minimum of two (2) years' experience in customer service in a business office environment dealing with cashier duties, billing and payment collections, data entry, and computer operation; or any combination of education, experience, and training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority.
Must have experience handling cash transactions and customer service work.
