Job description

Pay Range:
$22.05 - $33.08
A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking an Exercise Physiologist (EP) to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, mission-driven, and committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care.
The Exercise Physiologist assesses and evaluates patients, develops and implements individualized care plans, and provides education related to cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary rehabilitation. Responsibilities include exercise prescription, strengthening, patient monitoring, safety assessment, and accurate recognition and interpretation of cardiac dysrhythmias.

Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Health Education, Physical Education or Exercise Physiology with a Cardiac Rehab emphasis is required.
  • Master's degree in Kinesiology, Health Education, Physical Education or Exercise physiology with a Cardiac Rehab emphasis preferred.

Experience Qualifications
  • 1 year of Exercise Physiology or Cardiac Rehab is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is obtained within 6 months of hire is required.
