Job Title: Part-Time Event Manager

Location: LaMarr Civic Center, Eufaula, AL

Salary: PT - $16.50 hourly (Tues Friday and during scheduled events)

Experience: At least 5 years experience in Sales or Management

Education: Associates or higher degree

Overall Description: Were looking for a skilled and energetic individual to plan dynamic and engaging events to drive new business and strengthen our organizations unique culture. The ideal candidate is meticulous and organized. Ability to coordinate multiple moving parts in preparation for an event. Ability to ensure that any last-minute changes or obstacles are handled with minimal disruption. Help to ensure each customers experience engaging, successful, and a memorable event.

Objectives of this role

  • Foster a fun and supportive organizational environment
  • Plan for showing of civic center venue to potential guests
  • Customize engagement package for interested bookings
  • Raise awareness of new products, drives, or initiatives through events
  • Drive and develop strong ties to sponsors, community, and customers
  • Be available to work weekends, late evenings, and holidays during events
  • Assist with pre- and post-cleanup after events
  • Dress in accordance with civic center attire requirements
