Job description

Position Title:

Part time Instructor

Position Type:

Fixed Term (Fixed Term)

About the Role:

The Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Philosophy invites applications for a part-time Adjunct Instructor in anthropology, sociology, philosophy, and religious studies.

Candidates will teach one or more of the following classes:

  • Introduction to cultural anthropology;

  • Introduction to archaeology (prehistory);

  • World cultures;

  • Introduction to sociology;

  • Sociology of global inequalities;

  • Philosophy, individuals, and society;

  • Introduction to logic;

  • Philosophers, cultures, and creativity,

  • Philosophy of ethics;

  • Information ethics

  • Health care ethics;

  • World religions and cultures.


Courses may be offered on NKU's campus, online, or at area high schools. For additional information on the department visit http://nku.edu/sap.

M.A. in anthropology, sociology, philosophy, or religious studies required.
