Overview

Position Type: Part-Time Education Level: High School Category: Admin - Clerical

Description

Provides administrative support for assigned Minister and ministry for the Prestonwood en Espanol North Campus

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative assistance including scheduling appointments, answering calls, ordering office supplies, and other administrative duties
  • Respond to requests and inquiries from ministry leadership, teachers, members, attendees, and prospects
  • Provide administrative support for LifeGroups including running reports, preparing, and updating rosters as needed
  • Assist volunteers with providing curriculum and supplies for all LifeGroups and service times
  • Maintain compliance with all Prestonwood Baptist Church ("PBC") policies, procedures, and requirements, for example following finance procedures and utilizing PBC databases
  • Ensure rooms, materials, resources, and equipment are reserved as needed
  • Ensure volunteer screening process is followed
  • Attend ministry staff meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of Prestonwood en Espanol
  • High School education, some college preferred
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to time manage and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong bilingual communication skills (Spanish/English) both written and oral required
  • Basic to intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products
  • Prior administrative experience preferred
  • Able to perform occasional activities that require moving one's whole body, such as in lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, pushing, pulling, work at a desk with a computer screen for extended periods of time, and able to occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
