We are building a brand new 9 story Hospital scheduled for May 2027 - state of the art and double the size!
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Our Emergency Room Techs are responsible for decontamination, cleaning, processing, and sterilization of supplies, and equipment dispensed by the emergency department following established Infection Control Practices.
  • Assists with basic patient care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under direct supervision of the registered nurse. The ED Tech maintains environment that is prepared for patient care.
  • Must be conscientious with regard to procedures, and capable of working under pressure and interacting professionally with other departments within the hospital.
  • Able to accept new ideas and learn position duties.
  • Participate in the department's performance improvement activities related to the Emergency Department.

    • Tuition Loan: Provides up to $2,000 per calendar year for approved formal certificate or degree programs including prerequisites for approved degree programs. A tuition loan and reimbursement may, with appropriate approvals, be combined for a maximum of $2,600.
    • Critical Pipeline Loan: Tuition loans up to $5,250 for specific degree programs at approved, accredited schools identified by the organization, including BSN, MSN and other Healthcare degrees.
      • Employees may have their loans Forgiven if they continue eligible employment for 12 months after completion of the term for which the loan was given

Qualifications
  • Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross (required).
  • Medical Terminology (required).
  • Current EMT Certification (preferred).
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in acute hospital setting or in ambulance (preferred).
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing (required).
  • Additional languages (preferred).
  • Basic computer knowledge (required).
