Job description

NOW HIRING ENGLISH & LANGUAGE ARTS TUTORS/TEACHERS!
FLEXIBLE, PART-TIME HOURS.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one tutoring to students in English and Language Arts, including assisting students in preparing for the SAT & ACT verbal/Reading portions.
  • Help students improve their academic performance and achieve their learning goals.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong command on English Language and Grammar.
  • Teaching certificate preferred but NOT required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students.

In order to ensure our students have a successful educational experience, our tutors are required to go through paid initial and ongoing training in Huntington teaching methods and our highly developed curriculum.
NO lesson planning, curriculum development, grading, or parent conferences involved.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.
Expected hours: 2 - 15 hrs per week.
