ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
Location: Tucson, Arizona 85756

Part-time: Flexible time, 20 hours a week


We are looking for candidates who are currently in school and will graduate in 2027! Start your career with us!


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled, class of 2027
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
  • Engineering or Manufacturing discipline
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of component and assembly drawings.
  • Experience or training in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD).
  • Experience working with procedures and instructions.
  • Methodical and able to record and process test data and create reports.
  • Flexible, “can-do” attitude; ability to work effectively with many different people.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This position is generally responsible for supporting engineering.
  • This individual must prepare test equipment and samples for testing, as well as perform testing under the direction of Product Engineers.
  • They will set up and operate mechanical lab equipment and record the technical test data in spreadsheets.
  • The position will also require the ability to use a variety of mechanical test tools, scales, and measurement instruments.
  • The individual will create and revise CAD models and drawings.
  • Corporate procedures, including Purchase Orders and Engineering Change Orders will be followed.
  • Individuals will perform various other duties as assigned.
