Learning Disability Teacher Consultant (LDTC), part-time -2026/2027ย 


Alexandria Township School District is seeking a part-time knowledgeable, collaborative, and student-centered Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant to join our Child Study Team for the 2026-2027 school year.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Valid New Jersey Educational Services Certificate with LDTC endorsement required
  • Knowledge of special education regulations, evaluation procedures & eligibility determination
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, parents and related service providers
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations
  • Participate in Child Study Team evaluations and eligibility meetings
  • Develop and maintain compliant evaluation reports and IEP documentation
  • Serve as case manager for assigned students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents and outside agencies to support student success
  • Attend IEP meetings and provide consultation regarding instructional programming and accommodations

Terms of Employment:

  • Salary Range: $65,890- $99,150, pro-rated for part-time (as per the negotiated agreement)
