Customer Services Representative
Employer: TDL Staffing
Location: Fairbanks, AK
Pay: $23.00-$25.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time Available | Monday-Friday

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll serve as a primary point of contact for customers, assisting with billing inquiries, payment processing, account changes, and general customer support. This office-based position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing accurate, professional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers by phone and in person with billing inquiries, account concerns, service changes, and rate-related questions
  • Process customer payments, including EFT, ACH, credit card, and other payment methods
  • Reconcile daily payments with accounting and bank records
  • Process and monitor property changeover accounts for existing services
  • Generate customer communications using established templates and procedures
  • Schedule and coordinate meter maintenance appointments
  • Process daily cash management activities, including bank deposits, receipts, invoices, and work order billings
  • Process NSF checks and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Maintain organized filing systems and electronic customer records
  • Learn and apply RCA-approved tariffs while maintaining compliance with company procedures
  • Collaborate with team members and perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of customer service experience
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Ability to provide professional, friendly service while working in a high-volume office environment
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidential information
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively with others
  • Experience with cloud-based ERP software (Oracle preferred)
  • Background screening is part of the hiring process
