Overview

Job Title: Electronic Technician C  

Location: White Sands, NM 

Function/Branch: O&M/NRTF 

Directorate: Test Operations 

Position Type: Regular Full Time  

Pay Type: Wage  

Starting Hourly Rate: $41.44 

Overview 

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for an Electronic Technician, supporting Air Force Test Operations, at White Sands near Alamogordo, New Mexico.  

Open to internal and external candidates. The selected candidate for this requisition must be available to work any shift. 

Job Summary 

The successful candidate will perform Radar Cross Section (RCS) and Antenna Pattern measurement setup, data collection and processing through data validation at diverse and isolated work locations.  

Job Duties: 

  • Validate RCS and Antenna measurements using signal and image processing techniques 
  • Work on various types of electronic equipment and devices by performing one or more of the following: installing, operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, modifying and testing  
  • Apply basic working knowledge and experience to solve problems by utilizing schematics, diagrams, and appropriate test equipment   
  • Target support to include the mounting, dismounting, storage, transportation, and creating of test articles and the maintaining of the facilities and grounds at any site operated by NRTF 
  • Support to other trades as requirements dictate 
  • It is a condition of employment to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy  
  • Perform other duties as required  

Basic Qualifications: 

  • High school degree or GED and one year of experience in electronics, computer systems, and/or radar systems  
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance 
  • Must possess a valid driver's license 
  • Current U. S. Citizenship required 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Two-year technical degree 
  • Active DoD security clearance
