Job description

Part-Time Job Secretary – Electrical Subcontractor

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Job Secretary to support daily office operations. This role is primarily computer-based and focused on organizing documents, data entry, and general administrative support.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain digital and physical job files
  • Scan, copy, and file documents accurately
  • Perform data entry and update tracking spreadsheets
  • Manage emails and assist with document organization
  • Answer phones and assist with basic office communication
  • Support project managers with administrative tasks
  • Help keep office records organized and up to date

Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills (most important requirement)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Comfortable working on a computer for extended periods
  • Experience with filing, scanning, copying, and organizing documents
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Prior administrative or office experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment
  • Basic familiarity with construction or project-based work
