Job description

Part-Time Project Coordinator – Electrical Construction

Company: US Electrical Services
Position Type: Part-Time, Hourly
Pay Range: $28–$35 per hour, depending on experience

About the Position

US Electrical Services, a respected and growing electrical contracting company, is seeking an experienced, high-energy Part-Time Project Coordinator to join our team.

We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys being part of a collaborative office environment. This position plays an important role in supporting the successful completion of electrical construction projects—from bidding and job setup through invoicing and project closeout.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who takes pride in keeping work moving, communicating clearly, staying ahead of deadlines, and supporting both the operational and administrative sides of a fast-paced construction business.

At US Electrical Services, we value team players who bring a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to do what it takes to help the team succeed.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the day-to-day administrative needs of the construction management office.
  • Identify, solicit, organize, and track bid opportunities.
  • Communicate regularly with suppliers, customers, subcontractors, project managers, and internal team members.
  • Assist with new job setup and other project-related administrative tasks.
  • Maintain project information, documentation, schedules, and internal tracking systems.
  • Support invoicing, billing, and other office and accounting-related functions.
  • Enter and maintain accurate information in QuickBooks Online and other company systems.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical project files.
  • Track outstanding information, deadlines, approvals, and follow-up items.
  • Help ensure project managers and field teams have the information and documentation they need.
  • Assist with Procore project documentation and workflows, when applicable.
  • Help keep projects, information, and internal processes organized and running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

  • Seven to ten years of related experience in project coordination, construction administration, office management, or administrative support.
  • Previous experience with an electrical contractor, general contractor, subcontractor, or other construction-related business is strongly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online.
  • General understanding of accounting, invoicing, billing, and recordkeeping principles.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently follow through on assignments.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining a collaborative and dependable member of the team.
  • A proactive approach to identifying needs, resolving issues, and keeping work moving.
  • Experience using Procore construction management software is a plus.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly compensation of $28–$35 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
  • A part-time schedule.
  • Potential opportunity to transition into a full-time position with benefits as the company grows and project workload increases.
  • A supportive and collaborative team environment.
  • The opportunity to play an important role in the success of electrical construction projects.
  • The chance to join a respected and growing electrical contracting company.

How to Apply

Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit a résumé along with a brief summary of their relevant project coordination, construction, QuickBooks Online, Procore, and administrative experience.
