Job description

Boomerang Healthcare is seeking an experienced EEG Technician to support our outpatient neurology and TBI program in Walnut Creek. This role performs high-quality EEG studies, ensures accurate data capture, and provides excellent patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.


*This is a part-time role to support a few days a month.

What you will do:

  • Perform routine outpatient EEGs following ACNS and 10–20 standards.
  • Prepare patients, apply electrodes, and ensure high-quality, artifact-free recordings.
  • Monitor patients during testing and document clinical events or abnormalities.
  • Collaborate with neurologists, APPs, and clinic staff to support workflow and patient care.
  • Maintain EEG equipment, supplies, and documentation.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 1+ year EEG experience in outpatient or inpatient setting.
  • Knowledge of the 10–20 electrode placement system.
  • Ability to recognize and troubleshoot EEG artifacts.
  • BLS/CPR certification.
  • ABRET R.EEG T. certification (or eligibility).
  • Experience with digital EEG systems and outpatient neurology/TBI programs.

Compensation Range: 

$45.00 to $50.00 Hourly

All compensation ranges are posted based on internal equity, job requirements, experience, and geographical locations.
