Job description

Communications Intern (Part-Time Temporary)

Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District is seeking a part-time Communications Intern to support our team approximately 10 hours per week over a two-month period. This position will assist with a variety of communications and conservation outreach projects for a public water utility.

Responsibilities may include assisting with social media content, organizing digital files and project materials, supporting basic graphic design and video editing projects, gathering information and data for communications initiatives, assisting with website updates, and providing general project support as needed. Projects and assignments will vary based on the intern's interests, experience, and the needs of the team.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, eager to learn, and willing to contribute where needed. Experience with Microsoft Office/SharePoint, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Analytics, or similar tools is a plus but not required.

This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting community outreach, digital communications, and water conservation initiatives while building practical skills across a variety of communications projects.
