E-commerce Associate

Morris Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization and an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International that brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Our organization serves populations in 68 municipalities spanning across Morris, Middlesex and parts of Union and Somerset Counties.

Title: E-commerce Associate – Part Time

Reports To: E-commerce Manager

Function:

The E-Commerce Associate position is an entry-level role performing a variety of duties to achieve our common goal of selling donated items online for our retail store teams

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process goods efficiently across all categories
  • Clean, prepare, and move goods as required
  • Load/unload containers and transport items to designated areas
  • Support the sales cycle by receiving, processing, photographing, listing, stocking, storing, and testing products
  • Create item titles with relevant keywords
  • Print packing slips
  • Conduct inventory checks
  • Pull and pack orders for shipping per standards
  • Keep work area neat and organized
  • Consistently meet productivity targets
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Schedule:

  • Schedule to the needs of the business.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Experience working in logistics, retail, or customer service

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong communication abilities, both written and oral
  • Confidence in using technology such as email, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Basic photography knowledge is helpful—training will be provided
