POSITION TITLE: E-Commerce Lister

REPORTS TO: Retail Store Manager

FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt, Full-Time & Part-Time Available

COMPENSATION: $19.50 to $23.00 per hour

LOCATION: San Diego, CA

Position Summary:

Kitchens for Good’s E-Commerce Lister will oversee researching, product listing, listing management and shipping. This position requires a detailed, inquisitive, and creative mindset. The successful candidate must have the ability to do independent research, develop a concise listing, work and make decisions independently, bring new ideas to the team, and be willing to grow.


Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare items to be photographed
  • Photograph items to be listed for sale and edit as needed
  • Research other organizations to ensure competitive pricing
  • Create concise, error-free listings
  • Reply to customer inquiries or complaints via phone call or email
  • Upload tracking numbers
  • Respond to official customer disputes, complaints, and chargebacks
  • Prepare outbound shipments for customer orders
  • Work with KFG volunteers
  • Willingness to support The Shop as needed.
  • Responsible for content creation, collaboration and posting on all social media platforms, which include Instagram, Tic Toc, and Facebook.
  • Communicate effectively with team members about donations, inventory, and operational needs.
  • Assist with store upkeep, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Support loss-prevention procedures.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, mission-driven team environment.

Work Environment:

A dynamic, entrepreneurial, results-driven, and fast-paced environment. This role operates from the retail store environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

The employee is routinely required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 50 pounds. The position requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a non-exempt, full-time or part-time position at 20+ hours per week. SHOP KITCHENS FOR GOOD, is open 7 days a week from 10:00am-7:00pm. Scheduled hours and days will vary. Must be available to work on weekends and evening shifts.


Travel:

Employee may be expected to travel to as needed, to additional KFG locations.

Education & Work Experience:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of consumer electronics (mobile devices and computers such as Apple, Samsung or Google products).
  • Experience with multiple e-commerce platforms such as eBay, Amazon, Facebook Marketplace, Shopify, etc.
  • Experience with and demonstrated proficiency using MS Office applications (especially MS Excel)
  • Prior experience in product/still image photography strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of cooking and kitchen products is a plus
