Position Summary: BGA seeks dependable drivers with both P and S endorsements to transport students for sports games, events, and local routes to school in the morning and afternoon.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Skills:
  • Drive safely along designated routes.
  • Obey traffic laws, safety procedures, and transit regulations.
  • Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations.
  • Communicate with passengers and employers regarding delays or any issues along a route.
  • Be familiar with bus routes, schedules, and general areas, keeping routes on time.
  • Promote safety at all times by keeping the first aid kit and emergency road kits fully stocked.
  • Ensure proper loading, unloading, and tracking of children.
  • Ensure the use of child safety restraints required by state law.
  • Ensure proper verification procedures for evacuation of the vehicle based on the type of vehicle and the ages of the children served.

• CDL with P and S endorsement is required.
