Part Time On Call Driver

Pay Range: $15-$18 hourly, depending on experience

Checkered Flag Automotive Group is seeking a friendly and motivated Part -Time On Call Driver to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA!

What Our On Call Drivers Do

  • Provide safe transportation to and from the dealership
  • Assist passengers getting in and out of vehicles
  • Keep a timely shuttle route while using good judgment and safe driving skills
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Use company handheld technology to communicate with Dispatch
  • Keep a clean and well-maintained vehicle for safe and efficient travel

Your Pre-Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and social skills
  • Hours for this position are On Call and individual must be flexible to work Monday through Saturday
  • Must have a valid driver's license with 3 or fewer moving violations in the last 3 years

    • Major violations in the last 3 years, such as DUI or Reckless Driving, will disqualify candidates

Physical Requirements

  • Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks such as vacuuming your vehicle, walking to greet customers, and escort them back to the vehicle
  • Able to drive and sit for extended periods of time
