Position Summary

Common daily tasks could include making hot, craveable, hand-made pretzels that are best in class and ensuring Wetzel’s fabulous customers enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience of fresh food and drinks. This is a part-time position and weekends are required.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a friendly way and make a great first impression
  • Following brand standards, prepare and deliver quality food and beverage to each guest
  • Ensure each guest is highly satisfied with their experience by making them the highest priority
  • Perform cashier duties and follow all procedures related to cash handling
  • Maintain a clean workstation and complete thorough cleaning of guest areas as directed
  • Follow all procedures related to food safety and restaurant safety and security
  • Adhere to schedule and arrive to work on time and with a positive attitude

Required Qualifications/Skills

  • Be a team player with high energy, a positive attitude, and great customer service skills
  • Be able to anticipate and understand guests’ needs and exceed their expectations
  • The ability to be punctual and maintain an assigned work schedule is required
  • Must be able to follow and understand the importance of procedures
  • Be able to make good decisions based on analysis, experience and judgement
  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • A food handlers’ card is required
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

  • Prior cash handling experience is preferred, but not required

Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Regularly required to stand and walk and reach with hands and arms
  • Occasionally required to bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch
  • Must be able to perform cleaning duties (wipe tables and equipment, sweep, and mop)
  • Must be able to lift and/or move 10 pounds
