Part-Time Litigation Paralegal Plaintiff Personal Injury (Remote/Hybrid Flexibility)

Job Overview

A well-established litigation practice is seeking an experienced Pennsylvania Litigation Paralegal to join its team for part-time employment (less than 30 hours per week). This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional who excels in a fast-paced legal environment and is passionate about supporting clients through complex injury claims.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation in Pennsylvania, along with strong organizational abilities, and a proven track record of managing cases from intake through trial preparation.

This position involves close collaboration with attorneys across all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, organizing medical records, preparing for depositions and trial, and tracking critical deadlines. Attention to detail and ability to keep cases progressing efficiently are essential to success in this role.

A hybrid work or fully remote arrangement may be available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, including investigation, discovery and trial preparation.
  • Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Conduct client and witness interviews to gather case-related information.
  • Maintain and organize case files in accordance with firm procedures.
  • Produce case summaries and reports for attorney review.
  • Coordinate and assist with depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
  • Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Utilize case management software.
  • Handle electronic filing of court documents.
  • Manage scheduling, calendars, and legal correspondence.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a law firm setting.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation required.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency in administrative and clerical functions, including filing and scheduling.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary Range: Starting at $24.00 per hour or more - depending on experience

  • PTO or Paid Time Off that includes vacation and sick days and holiday pay.

Schedule:
