Part-time Litigation Paralegal
Skill or Experience working as a paralegal
Experience in supporting personal injury litigation practice and premise liabililty claims.
Drafting legal documents including civil complaints and discovery documents associated with the civil motions practice, including interrogatories, requests for production of documents, preliminary objections, legal memoranda and briefs associated with the civil motions and discovery process.
Experience with performing adminstrative tasks such as interviewing potential new clients, assisting in assessing the viability of the case, and following each case from intake to settlement, and/or providing support throughout the litigation process.
Ordering medical records and billing from various medical providers, notifying various health insurance providers, various health insurance plans and government agencies such as Medicare and Department of Health and Human Services to obtain information in support of potential subrogation claim.
Experience using various legal research software applications such as Westlaw, InCite, or Lexus Nexus.
Maintining client files, scheduling appointments, hearing depositions, and handling daily office tasks.
Salary commensurate with the level of experiences ranging from $28,080 to $35,000.
