Addiction Medicine, Part Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Seeking Part Time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with previous addiction experience in MAT and the treatment of substance use disorders (SUD).
The field of addiction medicine is growing and this position will enable you to gain experience providing wide-ranging treatment in the area of addiction medicine, including MAT, as a member of our inpatient and outpatient detoxification and rehabilitation team.
The right candidate will have an opportunity to work with a committed team of professionals to provide linkage and increased access to evidence-based SUD treatments.
Buprenorphine experience in the inpatient and outpatient setting is preferred.Inpatient and/or outpatient detoxification/rehabilitation is preferred.
Highlights include:
  • Assessment and management of candidates presenting with substance use disorders.
  • Coordinate patientsโ€™ progress and treatment plans with an active multi-disciplinary team including counselors, nursing, and psychiatrists.
  • Evaluate patients for medication-assisted treatments, working collaboratively with staff to ensure continuity of care after discharge.
  • Acquire knowledge of the most up-to-date evidence-based practices in the field.
