Why work at Lamplighters? - From our teachers
  • "If you like being outside in the fresh air EVERY DAY, embracing flexibility and change, learning new teaching methods and problem solving with your team, holding bugs and cleaning up messes, going the extra mile for the sake of the child, the vibe and the aesthetic , if the process is more important than the product, and you want to eat delicious food, Lamplighters might be the place you want to teach!" - Fisher
  • "Lamplighters is so unique because the administration values its students, staff, and parents in equal measure. It seems like a simple thing, but it makes a HUGE difference. You've probably heard of the "whole-child approach," but at Lamplighters, it's not just the children. Every person involved in Lamplighters, parents, staff, and students alike, is treated with a "whole-human approach." I just completed my third year as a teacher here, and I'm still impressed every day by how much I feel like a human first and a teacher second when I go to work. Administration seamlessly blends professionalism and warmth, and they lead with kindness, humility, and a collaborative spirit that makes everyone feel valued, supported, and seen." - Lauren
  • "The lamplighters environment is welcoming, understanding and supportive. This school is filled with staff members who are kind, caring and passionate about this field of work and it reflects in how they care for and teach the children." - Averi
