Boscov's Shoe Sales Associate 
Boscov's began as a peddler's dream.  For over 100 years, we've grown into America's largest family-owned department store.  We've entertained the crowds with celebrity guest appearances, done thousands of in-store demonstrations and supported our communities in countless ways.  We're dedicated to finding the best deals that we can for our loyal customers.  Our co-workers work hard, but reap the benefits of friendship and fun.  Ask someone why they love working at Boscov's and they'll tell you, "we feel like we're part of the family." We are looking for people who love people to join our Shoe Sales Team! 
Qualifications 

  • Enjoys working with people, approachable, courteous, and patient
  • Ability to engage our customers and provide excellent service by meeting customer needs through active listening, asking good questions, and showing our customers what it is like to be part of the Boscov's family!
  • Ability to achieve sales goals
  • Able to multi-task, helping more than one customer at a time when needed
  • Entrepreneurial drive to succeed in a commission based environment
  • This is a fast-paced position that requires physical movement, including walking, standing, bending, reaching, and climbing ladders and/or stairs
  • Available to work varied days and hours as schedule requires, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities 

  • Set and achieve sales goals
  • Meet and exceed customer expectations by retrieving requested shoes from stockroom area, as well as recommending additional items based on customer needs
  • Educate customer on product
  • Work as a team player to ensure every customer's needs are met
  • Daily department maintenance tasks such as merchandising, display, and ticketing
  • Assist with stock room maintenance when not assisting customers
  • Help to fulfill customer internet orders
