Dispensary Agent (Part Time)
Department: Sales
Employment Type: Part Time
Location: Fremont, OH
Reporting To: General Manager
Compensation: $17.00 / hour
Description
The Dispensary Agent is a key team member at our dispensary and is responsible for providing unique customer service experiences, educational consulting, and in some cases patient record management
The daily grind:
  • Greet customers and patients with a smile and positive attitude.
  • Assist customers and patients navigate through their cannabis education journey.
  • Build lasting relationships with regular patients/customers to promote regular store visits.
  • Partner with team members in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
  • Provide patients and customers alike with information on types, methods, and efficacy of various cannabis products (we do not provide medical advice).
  • Continue on-going cannabis education and training.
  • Provide support to managers and other Dispensary Agents as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation/store front.
  • Review online orders to ensure accuracy before pick-up.
  • Understand and apply detailed compliance regulations as required by local and state laws.
  • Stock, merchandise, and replenish displays of regulated and unregulated inventory.
  • Process transactions at the POS and ensure the state monitored inventory system (METRC) accurately updates the amount of product available.
  • Expected to be to work all scheduled workdays, during scheduled hours and report to work on time.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of retail or hospitality (customer-facing) experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age and able to register as a cannabis agent with the state.
  • Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds unassisted, stand and walk in excess of 5+ hours per day.
  • Ability to squat, kneel, bend over, and reach with little or no assistance.
  • Comfortable working in a demanding high-volume, fast-paced retail environment.
  • Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes, and product application/consumption methods.
  • Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software i.e. Word, Excel, email, etc.
  • Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.
