We are a growing, patient-focused dental practice looking for an part time experienced and dependable Front Office Coordinator to help manage the daily front office operations of our dental practice and deliver an outstanding patient experience.

At Smile Care of Union, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality dental care in a warm and welcoming environment. We are seeking a professional who is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in dental front office operations, insurance verification, and billing.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients professionally and warmly
  • Answer phones and manage appointment scheduling
  • Perform insurance verification and dental billing (required)
  • Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims
  • Verify patient benefits and explain insurance coverage when needed
  • Collect payments and maintain accurate financial records
  • Coordinate treatment plans and patient communication
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Handle appointment reminders, confirmations, and follow-ups
  • Support smooth day-to-day office operations and patient flow

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in a dental front office is required
  • Insurance verification and dental billing experience is mandatory
  • Strong understanding of dental insurance plans, claims, and EOBs
  • Experience with dental practice management software preferred
  • Experience with Dentrix Ascend is a strong plus
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
