We are a small independent private practice consisting of two general dentists.
We are a low-volume office where we spend time with our patients and value the model of comprehensive care.
Looking for professional dental assistant with approachable demeanor.

Part-time Dental Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and professional part-time Dental Assistant starting March 2026.
We are a small private independent practice consisting of two general dentists.
Location: Greenwich Village/ Washington Square Park.
Duties include but not limited to:
Chair-side assisting of dentists
Room setup, breakdown, and disinfection
Manage infection control - prepare, sterilize, and restock equipment
Adhere to all OSHA and safety policies/procedure
Answer phone calls in a professional manner when office manager is not present
Adhere to all HIPAA guidelines
Maintain appropriate stock of dental supplies in operatories
Maintain running list of inventory for future supply orders
Clean and organize dental laboratory as needed
Process payments for services rendered when office manager is not present
Schedule patients using Dentrix software
End of day duties include operatory and lavatory clean up
Exhibit professional and approachable character when in the office

Salary Range

Part-time $27 - $30 per hour

Shift & Schedule

Hours:
- Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday's
- Day can begin as early as 7:00am and end time varies based on patient schedule. Each day varies based on patient schedule.
- Occasional Saturday’s if weekend assistant is out and would like to fill in (but not required).
