Job description

Job Title: Bilingual Spanish Classroom Data Collector – California Dual Language Learner (DLL) Project

Locations: Greater Los Angeles/San Diego

Noor Workforce Solutions is recruiting dedicated Classroom Data Collectors to support the California Dual Language Learner (DLL) study conducted in partnership with our client. This study evaluates preschool classroom environments before and after teachers complete specialized professional development aimed at supporting dual language learners across 100 California preschools.
Data collectors will conduct structured observations using an observation tool developed by our client, with select classrooms receiving additional Classroom Assessment Scoring System® (CLASS®) assessments.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Classroom Field Observations: Conduct in-person classroom observations during two project phases: baseline (Fall 2026) and follow-up (Spring 2027).
  • Professional Representation: Serve as the professional, punctual, and engaging face of our client and Noor Workforce Solutions while visiting participating preschools.
  • Prompt Communication: Maintain constant, daily responsiveness by checking email and text messages multiple times a day, confirming receipt, and responding promptly to coordination updates.
  • Data Reporting & Meetings: Enter observation data accurately using your computer and attend scheduled team briefings and meetings via Microsoft Teams.
Locations & Regional Availability
We are seeking field data collectors who reside in or near—and are willing to drive within—the following California regions:
  • Greater Los Angeles / San Diego
Key Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bilingual Skills: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for several roles; proficiency in English and another second language is a plus for remaining openings.
  • Reliable Transportation: Must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and willingness to drive same-day up to ~2 hours in the morning to arrive at preschool sites by ~8:00 AM.
  • Technology Access: Must have a personal computer for data entry and video capabilities for Microsoft Teams meetings.
  • Relevant Experience: Prior classroom observation experience—particularly with the CLASS® framework—is strongly preferred, though not strictly required.

Candidates must be available for all required project phases:
  • Paid Training: September 2026 (~1 week)
  • Data Collection (Phase 1): October – November 2026 (4–6 weeks)
