Part-Time Data Entry Clerk (Hybrid)VIA LINK is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Data Entry Clerk to support emergency shelter data operations. This rolemaintains accurate records in the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) on behalf of the Unity Continuum ofCare (CoC), a coalition of local agencies coordinating services for people experiencing homelessness. Compensation and Schedule● Hourly rate: $15.00,● Schedule: Part-time, 25 hours per week,● Work location: Hybrid - 3 days in-office (Mon/Tue/Wed) in Metairie, LA; remaining hours remote.Key Responsibilities● Daily management and updating of emergency shelter data quality for the Unity Continuum of Care,● Generate and send custom reports,● Support additional data entry projects as assigned,● Work occasionally on-site at emergency shelters, which may involve direct interaction with shelter residents and staff,● Support the HMIS Administrator with the Identification Card SystemQualifications,● Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel (including basic formulas and data sorting/filtering), and email,● Willingness to learn new databases and systems (HMIS training provided),● Ability to communicate effectively by phone, email, and in person,● Strong attention to detail and reliability,● Previous data entry experience preferred.
