POSITION SUMMARY:

Tarkett is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Total Rewards Administrator on a part-time basis. In this role, you will provide critical administrative support across our compensation, benefits, and retirement plan programs, working as a shared resource with our Total Rewards team. The Total Rewards Administrator provides broad administrative support across the Total Rewards team as a shared resource for two divisions in North America. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of managing competing priorities across multiple stakeholders in a part-time capacity.

ESSESNTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administrative & Team Support

  • Support the Total Rewards team with day-to-day administrative tasks across compensation, benefits, and retirement programs

  • Coordinate scheduling, documentation, and tracking for Total Rewards projects, audits, and program deadlines

  • Prepare employee communications, letters, and materials under the direction of team managers

  • Maintain organized records, filing systems, and documentation for HR compliance and audits

  • Respond to employee inquiries and route to the appropriate team member as needed

Compensation & Retirement Plan Support

  • Assist with compensation cycle administration, including data entry, spreadsheet management, and reporting

  • Support administrative tasks related to 401(k) and Defined Benefit plan programs

  • Assist with preparation of compensation-related reports and presentations

Benefits Administration Support

  • Assist with open enrollment preparation, including communications and enrollment tracking

  • Support health and welfare benefits inquiries for US employees

  • Coordinate benefits documentation and vendor data requests as directed

  • Manage monthly benefit billing

Data & Systems

  • Run standard HR reports and assist with data quality reviews

  • Support audit preparation and compliance documentation

  • Maintain data integrity in compensation and benefits tracking tools and spreadsheets

  • Assist with audit preparation, compliance documentation, and records retention

  • Process data entry, record updates, and system transactions in ADP, carrier files as directed

REQUIREMENTS (including educational requirements)

The successful candidate will possess:

  • 1-3 years of experience in HR, benefits administration, or a related administrative role

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and document preparation

  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain confidentiality

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

  • Familiarity with benefits or compensation processes is a plus
