Job Requirements:

  • High School Degree

  • General office procedures and practices

  • Photocopier and fax 

  • Type at least 60 wpm

  • 2-3 years' experience Clerical in Healthcare 

Job Overview:
This position is responsible for the coordination and organization of data from various sources to accomplish required processes, goals, and objectives for the department. This position is responsible for accurate tracking, exchange, and analysis of data through work with various automated systems, as well as accurate data entry and maintenance and creation of reports for management and external customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the management of other functions to include newsletter, surveys and audits for medical records.

  • Compiles and organizes data to assist with monthly, quarterly and annual reports for appeals from ARRAY.  

  • Generates ad hoc reports under supervision of the system administrator.

  • Perform secretarial and office management duties independently and effectively.

  • Receive denials from multiple sources such as patient accounting, care management, behavioral health and perinatal with data entry into ARRAY database.  

  • Assigns denials to appeals coordinators in a timely manner.
