Job description


Title: Cyber Security Analyst
Location: Washington, D.C

CyberData Technologies is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support our Federal Client in Arlington, VA.

*** MUST HAVE A DOD SECRET CLEARANCE *** This is a Part-Time Position to Support a DoD Federal Client in the Re-Accreditation of an Existing Software Solution ***

  • Support Certification & Accreditation (C&A) efforts and develop document artifacts
  • Support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) security authorization process / packages. This includes system architecture and boundaries, hardware and software inventories, risk assessment reports
  • Support the development / approval of Plan Of Action & Milestones (POAMS) and the mitigation of issues related to the POAMs
  • Support the Continuity of Operations (COOP) for the software solution
  • Support the documentation requirements for Ports Protocols System Management (PPSM) accounting, and other necessary system, network, and application documentation
  • Assist with the management of the Cyber Security for the IT systems to Army and DOD standards within the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support System (eMASS). Document in eMASS the results of all findings that are not in compliance within the established POAMs.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the Cyber Security and System Vulnerability Compliance for the IT solution in accordance with US Army Network Command (NETCOM), US Army and Agency policies. Provide a monthly status report. Assist with the mitigation of issues discovered during the performance of vulnerability scans. Assist with the development and maintenance of the mitigation strategies to resolve findings for all Category I, II and III vulnerabilities.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the accreditation of the Agency Cloud and LAN environments according to the guidance provided by DISA, ARMY NETCOM, Joint Service Provider (JSP) and the Cloud Information System Security Provider (CISSP) SLA for compliance with the accreditation process to maintain the DoD Network Authority to Operate (ATO).
  • 5 Years of Experience working within the DoD supporting software with C&A, ATOs, RMF, POAMs, COOP, STIGs
  • Desired certifications: CCNA, Security Cyber Security Architect+ (SCSA, formally listed as CSA+) GIAC Security Engineer Certification (GSEC), Security+ CE, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
