RMF Cybersecurity Analyst
The Opportunity:
Cyber threats are everywhere, and the constantly evolving nature of these threats can make understanding them seem overwhelming to government agencies. In all of this "cyber noise," how can these organizations understand their risks and how to mitigate them? The answer is an information security risk specialist like you who will break down complex threats into manageable plans of action.
As an information security risk specialist on our team, you'll use your experience to work with the Air Force to discover their cyber risks, understand applicable policies, and develop a mitigation plan. You'll review technical and risk details to assess the entire threat landscape. Then, you'll guide your customers through a plan of action with preparation of body of evidence artifacts.

You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience evaluating the compliance of a system against the Risk Management Framework (RMF) using DoD cybersecurity policies
  • Experience developing cybersecurity RMF body of evidence documentation such as System Security Plans or RMF Control Family Plans
  • Knowledge of developing and submitting RMF Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages in the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • DoD 8140 Certification

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with Air Force RMF
  • Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Ports, Protocols, and Services Matrix, Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM), and Host Based Security System (HBSS)

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
