Seeking Registered Nurse!

Baptist Health Floyd, NICU
Part-time (24 Hours Weekly), Nights (7pm-7am)

Job Duties:

In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.

About the Department:

The NICU provides level II care to infants as early as 32 weeks' gestation or 1,500 grams and above. The NICU is comprised of 6 rooms. The nurses treat Vapotherm and bubble CPAP ventilated patients up to 24 hours, PPN administration, umbilical lines, central lines, NAS monitoring and care. The NICU also accepts readmit infants from home for up to 30 days. There are three Neonatal NPs on staff, with at least one available 24/7.

Qualifications:

Current Indiana or compact state RNLicense.

BLS for Healthcare Providers required.

NRP certification required (obtained within 6 months of hire).

S.T.A.B.L.E certification required (obtained within 1 year of hire).

Previous NICU nursing experience preferred.
