About the Role

Engage Wellness is seeking a compassionate and engaging Part-Time/PRN Group Facilitator to support adults in our behavioral health and recovery programs. This role is responsible for facilitating therapeutic groups, promoting client engagement, and helping create a safe, supportive environment that fosters growth, recovery, and overall wellness.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate therapeutic groups and activities for adult clients.
  • Encourage client participation in treatment planning and goal achievement.
  • Help clients develop healthy coping skills and emotional regulation strategies.
  • Foster open communication and meaningful group discussions.
  • Create and maintain a positive therapeutic environment.
  • Adapt group activities to meet individual client needs and treatment goals.
  • Document client participation, interventions, and progress notes accurately and timely.
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress and the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Communicate client updates with the treatment team as appropriate.
  • Provide information regarding community resources and support services.
  • Assist with discharge planning and follow-up service coordination.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with all agency policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Psychology, Sociology, Education, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.
Experience
  • Experience working with individuals with emotional and/or behavioral health needs preferred.
  • Experience facilitating groups, teaching, coaching, or leading therapeutic activities preferred.
  • Previous experience in mental health, substance use treatment, addiction recovery, counseling, or other behavioral health settings is strongly preferred.
Certifications
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred; training must be completed within 90 days of hire if not already certified.
