The Digital Marketing & Content Creator is responsible for developing, filming, editing, organizing, and managing digital content across multiple marketing channels while helping strengthen the SkyBlue Pool brand identity, customer relationships, and educational mission.
This is far more than a social media posting position. We are looking for someone who can help build trust within the community, strengthen customer relationships, increase brand awareness, showcase our expertise, and support business growth through strategic digital marketing and authentic content creation.

Key Responsibilities

Capture, create, film, edit, and publish engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other digital platforms featuring pool service visits, repairs, equipment installations, retail products, customer success stories, educational tips, and behind-the-scenes company operations.
Design graphics, captions, promotional materials, and educational content consistent with company branding.
Schedule, manage, and publish social media content while maintaining daily audience engagement through stories, comments, messages, and reviews.
Monitor social media trends, analytics, audience engagement, and content performance to support continued brand growth and visibility.
Assist with digital marketing campaigns, promotions, seasonal sales events, vendor partnerships, and lead generation initiatives.
Organize and maintain company photo and video libraries for marketing and operational use.
Collaborate with technicians, retail staff, management, and vendors to create authentic, informative, and engaging content.
Support company events, community outreach efforts, customer education initiatives, and promotional activities.
Maintain a professional and consistent representation of the SkyBlue Pool brand across all marketing and social media channels.
Update and maintain company photos, videos, and business information across Yelp, Google Business, and other online platforms to support brand visibility and customer engagement.
Coordinate with the companys website management team to provide updated content, photos, and business information to help keep the website current and accurate.
Qualifications

  • Experience creating and editing content for social media platforms.
  • Strong photography, videography, and video editing skills.
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar content creation tools preferred.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media strategy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of current social media trends, analytics, algorithms, and platform best practices.
  • Marketing, communications, social media, or related experience preferred.
  • Comfortable working both in-office and occasionally in the field capturing content.
  • Valid drivers license preferred.
Schedule

  • Part-Time: Monday Friday
  • Occasional evening or weekend event coverage may be required.
Work Location

  • Primarily based in-office at our Los Gatos location.
  • Occasional travel within the local service area for content creation, customer visits, and project filming.
