Part Time Weekend 1st Shift Security Officer
  • Pay: $18.00 Per Hour
  • Schedule
  • Saturday & Sunday 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM
  • 16 hours per week

Must be able to work the above schedule on a consistent basis.

Key Responsibilities/Job duties:

In this role, you will:

  • Be directing and checking in/out visitors, truckers with deliveries, issuing access badges, and other duties as necessary.
  • Log visitor and trucking data and other basic reports in the security computer system.
  • Monitoring cameras
  • Respond to alarms and emergencies as directed in post orders.
  • Look for and report potential safety hazards.
  • Wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as outlined for the position and follow all PPE policies and procedures.
  • Follow all client site-specific duties, as required and outlined in post-orders.
  • Work additional hours when necessary – fill open shifts, as needed.
  • Adhere to the highest standards of ethical business conduct and compliance by acting lawfully, ethically, honestly and professionally in the performance of their jobs at all times as well as be in compliance with company policy and procedures as it relates to their job function.
  • Assume responsibility for understanding and complying with Per Mar Security Services attendance expectations.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by interacting with the Per Mar Security Services internal/external customers (including, but not limited to: current customers, prospective customers, clients, vendors, co-workers, supervisors and management) in a mutually respectful manner regardless of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation and all other protected classes.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Must be able to obtain a valid WI Security License through the state of Wisconsin Department of Professional and Safety Services*
  • Must have HS Diploma, GED or High School Equivalency
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word and have computer experience

  • Experience Maintaining Control Access/Points of Entry
  • Excellent Customer Service and Effective Communication Skills
