Job description

Westgate Honda has an opportunity for a Part Time/Casual Receptionist to join our family-owned and operated dealership for approximately 10-15 hours per week (Days, Evenings and Saturdays).

The Receptionist is responsible for greeting and directing customers and assisting the sales/service teams with administrative duties. Westgate Honda is looking for a customer-centric individual who is passionate about building relationships with our customers and other staff.

Job Duties:

  • Greeting customers at our premises, over the phone in a prompt and professional manner, transferring them to the correct department.
  • Answering phones and checking voicemail in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring the front desk is kept clean and organized.
  • Adding and modifying customers in different CRM.
  • Filling out floor traffic log.
  • Writing receipts for sales transactions when necessary.
  • Adding and deleting keys on the key board. Assisting with stocking in new vehicles.
  • Filling out back of ownerships into Westgate’s name and adding them into the used garage book.
  • Sorting and filing photocopies of ownerships and license sheets.
  • Ensuring the customer waiting area is clean and organized, and coffee machine is kept clean and stocked with supplies.
  • Ensuring bathrooms are cleaned and replenished every three hours and cleaning schedules affixed to bathroom doors are filled out properly.
  • Preparing Purolator slips.
  • Following reception - closing tasks.
  • Assisting the accounting department with filing, scanning, etc.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Successful Candidates:

  • With previous experience in a Receptionist/administrative front-desk role will be strongly considered.
  • Must be available days, evenings and Saturdays.
  • Possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Must have exceptional telephone etiquette and listening skills.
  • Possess excellent written/oral communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to work in a team and possess strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
  • Must have strong computer skills and understanding of technology.
