WE'RE HIRING
Feed Mill Operator (Part-Time)
Luverne, MN
PIPESTONE is looking for a part-time Feed Mill Operator to support daily mill operations and help keep our mill running safely and efficiently. If you enjoy hands-on work, teamwork, and being part of a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this might be the role for you!
Position Objective
  • Assist in mill operations to ensure efficient feed production and high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grind and manufacture complete feed
  • Load complete feed trucks and unload ingredient trucks
  • Re-fill micro table and weigh hand-added ingredients
  • Support efficiency and organization of mill operations
  • Accurately complete production paperwork
  • Identify and monitor equipment throughout the mill
  • Monitor grain storage conditions to ensure product quality
  • Assist with repair and maintenance projects
  • Perform general facility upkeep
  • Support additional projects assigned by the Nutrition Team

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience with feed/grain handling, computer automation, or manufacturing preferred

Work Environment
  • Manufacturing setting
  • Noise levels may require hearing protection

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance
  • Stand and walk 8-10 hours per day
  • Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, pulling, and kneeling
