Job description

SUMMARY: This very part time position isprimarily responsible for receiving and displaying the jewelry and eyewearshipments for their assigned store(s). As well as, assisting with any customerservice requests related to greeting card and eyewear merchandising from storemanagement/leadership team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coreduties and responsibilities are centered around being a merchandisingrepresentative of OneSource for service to customers located in the territory,on the days and allotted hours as assigned. The merchandiser providessupporting functions including, but not limited to; stocking, merchandising,cards and eyewear are to be displayed according to sales volume, storepreferences, and/or regional programs. The merchandiser reports any observedalterations of greeting card displays to OneSource. The merchandiser shall besubject to the policies established by the managers of OneSource. Merchandisersmust comply with all regulations, policies and procedures set forth by theOnesource management team, including; time recording and feedback procedures,and any other duties as assigned, in relation to the job summary. This is apart time position that will not lead to fulltime.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/COMPETENCIES: May berequired to occasionally print documents from OneSource emails and respond toany OneSource correspondence within 24 hours. Reliable transportation required.Must communicate all schedule changes to OneSource management and storeleadership team, present self well along with a clean and neat appearance(hygiene), work consistent weekly scheduled visits (as assigned), commit to usestore phone to record worked in and out times through the IVR time managementsystem, Must utilize good communication, listening and organizational skills,including follow written and verbal directions, work with minimal supervision,and be professional and able to develop good working relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS: Merchandisers must have avalid personal email address, smart phone and voicemail capability, regular access toa computer for OneSource management communication. Valid driver’s license orstate I.D. required. Must wear proper attire while in assigned store (s), mustbe able to demonstrate professional working demeanor.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Merchandisers musthave the ability to do light lifting and at times manipulate boxes of 25 lbs,Must be able to stand for up to 4 hours at a time, be able to do repetitivebending and movements, including; repetitive lifting of a hand-full ofmagazines at one time to move them from display pocket to pocket.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Retail, grocery, orconvenient store settings.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: priormerchandising, grocery or retail experience preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able tosatisfactorily demonstrate communication and listening skills in English,including follow written and verbal directions.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must be able toutilize basic math calculations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job hasno supervisory responsibilities.
