Description
The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the building that he/she is assigned to. He/she will be responsible for completing the daily duties provided to him/her by the supervisor. The custodian will be responsible for team cleaning and individual cleaning. Constant communication with the supervisor is key to making sure the duties are completed.
Essential Tasks:
Conduct regular inspections of the assigned area.
Follow job duties that the supervisor assigns.
Cross train in different areas.
Provide excellent customer service.
Inform supervisor of broken equipment and fill stations that do not work properly.
Duties that you could be asked to complete in the building you are assigned to: Sweep Floors, Mop floors, dust, clean restrooms, take out trash, vacuum, Disinfect touch points and surfaces, Clean glass doors and windows, Clean and polish drinking fountains, Clean kitchens/break rooms, Sweep, mop stairwells, Wipe down handrails in stairwells, Clean and polish elevators, Keep custodial closet clean and organized
* You will be provided a building specific schedule, however the above tasks are companywide and you could be asked to perform such duties at any time.*
