Role description:
Arcadis North America is seeking a Strategic Account Leader with demonstrated relationships with NextEra Energy and particularly with NextEra Energy Resources (NEER). This role will focus on driving the growth of Arcadis' services across all business areas within NEER and also with regulated entities under NextEra Energy, Inc., with a specific focus on energy development and operations including permitting and planning, power delivery design (electrical transmission, distribution, and storage), Coal Combustion Residual Management, Environmental Site Assessment and Remediation. The ideal candidate will have a working relationship with NEER in one or more of these key areas and will be able to access new growth opportunities.
We welcome applicants from anywhere in the United States. This role follows a hybrid workstyle model and the successful candidate will be aligned to one of our Arcadis office locations. The successful candidate will be expected to work on-site as needed for key meetings, team events, and in-person collaboration.
Role accountabilities:
  • Serve as Arcadis' primary relationship manager (Account Leader) to further our relationship with NextEra with a focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience while diversifying Arcadis' service offerings to NEER and NextEra regulated entities in renewables, storage, transmission, nuclear and natural gas generation, and liability management.
  • Develop and expand Arcadis' relationships across the NextEra Energy enterprise to create inspired partnerships, and continue to build an understanding of Arcadis' capabilities and to expand Arcadis' position as a trusted partner.
  • Collaborate within Arcadis teams to develop and deliver differentiated services and pursuit strategies.
  • Leverage Arcadis' knowledge and expertise to identify new business opportunities and to develop winning strategies to support NextEra's needs by delivering world-class projects.
  • Oversee contract administration and Arcadis' internal process and reporting relative to services delivered to NextEra.
  • Build internal contract / program execution teams to ensure successful project delivery including quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other Arcadis Account Leaders to develop targeted pursuit strategies and expand Arcadis' presence in the power and energy sectors.
  • This role requires frequent client engagement, with an emphasis on building and maintaining strong relationships through regular in-person meetings across the NextEra footprint.

  • A minimum of 20 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Natural Sciences
  • Direct experience supporting NextEra through applicable services and solutions.
  • A deep understanding of NextEra's procurement process and expectations

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $113,933-242,107. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
