Job description

Fansler Global Logistics (FGL) is a growing U.S.-based transportation company specializing in truckload and drayage services throughout the United States and Canada.

We combine exceptional customer service with modern technology and AI-powered tools to help our team work smarter, respond faster, and provide an outstanding customer experience. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced sales professional who is passionate about building new business and wants to grow with us.


About the Role

This is a true hunter position.

We are looking for someone who is 100% self-sufficient, highly motivated, and comfortable building their own pipeline from the ground up. This is not an account management role. Your primary responsibility will be identifying prospects, opening doors, building relationships, and closing new business.

Once a customer has been successfully onboarded, our experienced operations team takes over the day-to-day account management, allowing you to stay focused on generating new opportunities and growing our customer base.

This position is initially part-time (approximately 10–20 hours per week) with flexible hours and is fully remote anywhere in the United States. As the company continues to grow, there is a clear opportunity for this role to transition into a full-time position for the right person.


Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities.
  • Cold call shippers, manufacturers, distributors, importers, exporters, and freight forwarders.
  • Build, manage, and grow your own sales pipeline.
  • Schedule meetings and present our transportation solutions.
  • Negotiate and close new business opportunities.
  • Transition new customers to our operations team after onboarding.
  • Consistently achieve agreed sales goals.


Qualifications

  • Experience in freight brokerage, trucking, logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding sales.
  • Proven success in business development and cold calling.
  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • An existing book of business and established industry relationships are highly preferred and will be given strong consideration.
  • Self-driven, organized, and motivated by performance-based compensation.
