Located in the heart of San Diego, we serve high-quality coffee, tea, and fresh bites in an environment that uplifts and inspires. We’re seeking a driven and passionate Coffee Shop Manager to help lead our team and grow with us.


As a Barista, you play a crucial role in creating a positive customer experience in our coffee shop. You will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing exceptional customer service.


Key Objectives



  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other beverages according to Cufiya’s standards.

  • Engage with customers to provide friendly, efficient service that enhances their experience.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop to ensure a safe and inviting environment.

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks

  • Interact with customers to take orders and provide recommendations

  • Operate coffee-making equipment and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards

  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately

  • Ensure the presentation and quality of beverages meet the established standards

  • Restock and organize inventory, including coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies

  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations

  • Manage customer inquiries and resolve any complaints or issues

  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow

  • Follow company policies and procedures at all times


Responsibilities



  • Craft espresso-based drinks and other menu items with precision and consistency.

  • Operate coffee machines and grinders, ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness.

  • Take customer orders accurately and handle transactions using the point-of-sale system.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
