Job description

The Part Time Outside Golf Operations will be responsible for the proactive maintenance and operations of the driving range, short game training area, and storage areas.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily setup and opening of the range, as well as the closing and securing of training facilities at the end of the day
  • Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of all equipment to ensure optimal functionality
  • Manage the clearing of the range, including the collection of golf balls
  • Treat all students, guests, and staff with exceptional guest services
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
  • Other duties as assigned including staff training.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of golf course procedures
  • Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Present a positive, professional image
  • Must be self-motivated and customer service oriented
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Reliable and predictable attendance
  • Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
  • Follow safety practices and recognizing hazards

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
  • Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time
  • Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, stairs, etc.
  • This role is considered essential and may be required to work during weather emergencies or business closures in order to meet operational requirements
