Stratton Amenities is a hospitality-focused staffing company providing concierge, courtesy patrol, security support, and lifestyle services to luxury apartment and condominium communities throughout the United States. Our team members serve as an extension of the property's management team and are expected to deliver exceptional service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, and staff.
Position Summary
Stratton Amenities is seeking professional, dependable, and customer-focused Security Officers to serve at a luxury residential community in Dallas, Texas.
This position is responsible for maintaining a visible security presence throughout the property, conducting routine patrols, monitoring for safety concerns, enforcing community policies, and assisting residents and guests as needed. The ideal candidate is observant, professional in appearance, calm under pressure, and committed to providing excellent service while protecting the community.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine patrols of the property, including:
  • Parking garages
  • Building perimeter
  • Common areas
  • Amenities
  • Stairwells
  • Corridors
  • Exterior grounds
  • Monitor for unauthorized individuals, suspicious activity, safety hazards, and property damage.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities through daily activity reports.
  • Respond appropriately to resident concerns, disturbances, and emergency situations.
  • Serve as a visible deterrent to criminal activity and policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management when required.
  • Report maintenance, lighting, gate, and safety issues to property management.
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency personnel when necessary.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with residents, guests, vendors, and property staff.
  • Enforce community rules and policies in a professional and respectful manner.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Texas driver's license preferred.
  • Previous security, law enforcement, military, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Active Texas Level II Security License preferred or ability to obtain one.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
  • Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to patrol large properties, including stairwells and parking garages.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Schedule
