Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy.
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential.
  • Current state of Ohio respiratory care license in good standing.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical respiratory care experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Previous experience as a clinical preceptor, educator, or instructor.
  • Experience in critical care, neonatal/pediatric care, or specialty respiratory practice.

Summary of Duties:
The Clinical Instructor provides clinical instruction and supervision to Respiratory Therapy students during assigned clinical experiences. This position promotes student learning, evaluates clinical performance, and ensures students develop the knowledge, skills, and professional behaviors necessary for safe and effective respiratory care practice. The Clinical Instructor serves as a liaison between the College and affiliated clinical sites while supporting the mission and goals of the Respiratory Therapy Program.
