JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for Adjunct Clinical Instructor openings in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at our Penn State Hershey Medical Center location for the 2026 to 2027 Academic Year.

Job Duties
  • Adjunct clinical instructors normally teach one to two clinical sections per semester as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A master's degree in nursing or higher is required along with a current Pennsylvania RN license.
  • Recent clinical experience preferred.
  • To be considered for this opening, applications must be submitted electronically and include a letter of application detailing relevant qualifications for this job and a curriculum vitae. Candidates shouldbe prepared to provide the names, titles, and contact information (telephone, email, and mailing address) of three (3) professional references, if requested.

Applications will be received on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed as the need arises. This is a one semester, non-tenure track appointment with the possibility of reappointment.
