Job description

Early Education Teacher - Infant, toddler and preschool.

Job types: full-time and part-time available.

We are a Christian childcare center looking for full and part-time teachers to work with children from 6 weeks old through 12 years old. We are open Monday through Friday from 6:00 am - 6:00 pm. Pay is based on education and experience.

Specific duties would include:
  • Reinforce weekly plans and help implement age-appropriate curriculum (lesson plan) to nurture and stimulate all domains of children’s development in their care.
  • Be a Christian role model for the children and families.
  • Provide a developmentally appropriate classroom environment that reflects the children’s learning and growth.
  • Provide responsive care to all children.
  • Demonstrate cultural competency and respect for the child's background by incorporating cultural, linguistic, and familial values and beliefs into the childcare program.
  • Maintain ongoing, open communication with parents/ caregivers.
  • Assure a healthy, safe, clean, and developmentally appropriate environment for children.
  • Participate in ongoing in-service and educational development opportunities.
