About the Position
A professional family is seeking a dependable, nurturing, and highly experienced infant nanny to provide consistent care for their baby boy.
Both parents are physicians, and Mom is currently on maternity leave. As she transitions back to work, the family's childcare needs will gradually increase from a flexible schedule to more consistent, full-day care.
Their baby was born prematurely, so the family is especially interested in a nanny who is confident, attentive, and experienced with young infants.
Schedule
The family's schedule will transition over the first few months:
  • September: Flexible scheduling as Mom prepares to return to work
  • October: Combination of half-day care and care while Mom works from home
  • After October: Approximately 8-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday
  • Some care will take place while Mom is working from home
  • Family is looking for someone who can provide consistency as their schedule transitions
Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive and nurturing infant care
  • Follow established feeding and sleep routines
  • Engage baby in developmentally appropriate activities
  • Support age-appropriate milestones
  • Provide tummy time, interactive play, and other appropriate stimulation
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for baby
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding baby's day, routines, and needs
