Re-posted 15 days ago

Job description

Alloy Personal Training in Palos Verdes is hiring a part-time certified personal trainer to coach small group sessions (3-6 clients per session) using our proven Alloy method. Our clients are primarily adults 40+ who want results in a supportive, non-intimidating environment โ€” no big-box gym vibes and no sales pressure.

Compensation: $28โ€“$40/hour (depending on experience)

Hours: 10โ€“15 hours/week, including some early mornings and/or early evenings. Weekend availability a plus.

What you'll do:

  • Coach small group personal training sessions using Alloy's structured programming
  • Customize within the program to meet individual client needs and abilities
  • Build genuine relationships with clients and track their progress session-to-session
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming, professional studio environment

What we're looking for:

  • Current nationally-recognized PT certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, ISSA, or equivalent)
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • 1+ years coaching experience preferred (small group experience a plus)
  • Genuine warmth โ€” our clients come back because of how you make them feel, not just the workout
  • Reliability. We need someone our clients and team can count on.

Why Alloy Palos Verdes:

  • Established studio with loyal, long-term clientele โ€” you're walking into a full schedule, not building a book from scratch
  • No sales quotas, no commission grind โ€” focus 100% on coaching, not selling
  • Proven programming system โ€” no need to design workouts from a blank page
  • Supportive team culture
  • Competitive hourly pay (not commission-only)
  • Free studio access + discounted supplements
  • Real opportunity to grow hours and responsibility for the right person

Ready to coach in a studio that actually values trainers? Apply today.
